A Tribute in Honor of:
Traumatic Brain Injury survivors
Traumatic Brain Injury is a disability that affects 1.4 million Americans and I am pretty sure is affecting many of the men and women who are serving our country overseas.  It affects more Americans every year than what will Breast Cancer, HIV/AIDS, Spinal Cord Injuries, and Multiple Sclerosis will affect COMBINED.  More needs to be done for those who live with a Traumatic Brain Injury AND it needs to be done with all parties working together and leaving THEIR EGOS at home!
Dedicated to making sure students who have sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury succeed at their dreams
Blog Post for April 13, 2008
I am going to need to go to the dance studio on Wednesday to work on my solos and help with two classes plus go to church.  I am going to need to start walking around town this week so my costume looks perfect on me.  Plus I am going to need to get with someone who can fix my costume before the June recital.  Angela is going to get her class started on the assignments, I emailed her, on Monday.  Then once I'm done with the two meetings I need set up then I am going to have to contact a lawyer and have him and another lawyer come to a meeting I need to set up and get a hold of everyone to come to then TBI Raiders will become non-profit!  How exciting is that?!

I need to get to work on the newsletter this week and work on some of the websites for TBI Raiders.  Some of the kids in the leadership class want to create their own websites and do a lot of things with the organization.  I am just so pleased with how everything is going.  Once we get things set up I can already think of some people I want to get a hold of to have community outreach events in Luther.  The thing is I'm really excited about being able to cook a lot this week for one of the meetings.  I don't like cooking a lot for myself.  And it has been ages since I really cooked for anything.  I know it has been a long time since I can't even remember it.  Hold it, never mind because it's hard to remember some things since I have a short term memory problem.  Oh well at least I'm not repeating things like I did when I was in the hospital after I came out of my coma.  I could only remember things for five seconds worth at that time.

I'm probably going to re-organize my home office today in the midst of cleaning my apartment.  I need to re-organize it since it's been a while and so many more things have been developing for TBI Raiders.  But it's not going to be all work for me today.  Later today I'm going to go visit my folks and then my youngest brother is in from college this weekend.  So it ought be fun.  Well I've got some things to get to so later ya'll!!!
