 The Hawker Hurricane IIB / IIC and Canadian Hurricane XII
 
One of the most famous aircraft of all times was also used by the Portuguese Military Aviation during the forties and fifties. This time we present some photos showing some aircraft in different dates and configurations.Some Hurricanes supplied came from Canadian production as 517 and 511 below.

H.Hurricanes Mk.XIIB 511 TY+B  and 517 TY+B (earlier in her career than in the photo above). Spinner and band in rear fuselage are red.(EMFA/CAVFA)
 
 
Hawker Hurricane IIC of Flight VX. Insignia colors: mosquito with light blue coat and trousers, red boots, pale yellow face, white wings. The mosquito is superimposed on a blue disk surrounded by green and red circular bands. On the green band the motto "Ou vai ou racha" is on white letters.(EMFA/CAVFA)
