After the safari we flew to Zanzibar, one of the islands of Tanzania. The flight was arranged via Nature Beauties.
We went on a spice-tour to smell and taste a variety of spices. The plantations are not very organised, but more jungle-like.
We walked around the old Stonetown, with labyrinth streets, carved wooden doors and the market .
The last part of our holiday was on the east-side of the island, at She-he Bungalows in a small village called Jambiani.
We sailed in a dhow, snorkled around, collected seashells and relaxed.
From our sunbeds we watched daily life: the men of Jambiani go fishing with their dhows, the women collect and dry seaweed, the children play.
We returned to Dar es Salaam by boat, to fly back to the Netherlands again.
