***HELP NEEDED***
The Future Factory is the non-profit organisation I volunteered with in South Africa, and where I will be returning to this year. Since it was set up in 2001, they have been trying to gain funding to purchase a much-needed van to transport coaches, volunteers and children. Recently that funding was received and a van was purchased. Unroadworthy at the time, a lot of time and money has gone into fixing it up. After passing roadworthy tests, before insurance could be arranged, it was stolen in Cape Town.The theft has been covered in all major newspapers, but police have had no leads. Anne Siroky, my project supervisor, is extremely upset - without the van, the program will suffer and some children will miss out as they are too far out of the way and there is no way of getting coaches there.
