Seventeen years before the date September 11 was marked as the 9/11 bombing of the World Trade Center , which occurred in the year 2001, a bouncing baby girl was born to wonderful parents. Yes, this baby is me; and just a bit of trivia, I had been sharing the same birthday with former president/dictator Ferdinand Marcos for eighteen years now.
I was the first bundle of joy to my parents for I am the eldest in a brood of three - two girls and one boy. Both of my parents used to work in a prestigious company, but just recently my mother availed of the early retirement to look after the family's small business, and of course to give more attention to family affairs.
Ever since childhood, I had been a very timid girl . However, I am not that shy when I am with my family and relatives, for I, together with my cousins, would sing and dance for them (of course that was when I was around 2-4 years old, I think).
I have been a consistent honor student from pre-school to high school, and has been a dean's lister for 1 year and 1 term. I am currently a sophomore at De La Salle University pursuing a BA degree in Communication Arts . I look forward to working in the field of print and broadcast journalism in the near future. I think jobs on this field are interesting and challenging.
