Why I chose Sailor Moon

Sailor Moon was my first anime so I have a special attachment to the show. I could care less if it is aimed towards 8 year old girls. Naoko Takeuchi handles controversial stereotypes such as homosexuality and permarital sex. She shows that Uranus and Neptune are two adults in a loving relationship and they are treated with just as much respect as everyone else. Minors participating in adult activities are looked down upon. Sailor Moon is appropriate for all age groups and teaches respect, discipline, and moral values.
Sailor Moon is a compilation of my favorite characteristics: sweetness, caring, friendship, trust, love, hope without reason, strength, energy, and beauty. She often acts out of line, but never intentionally, much like myself. Sailor Moon hits home for many of us. She lets us know that it's okay to mess up. Even a superheroe falls down.

Usagi:
Usagi is clutzy, blonde, and can outeat anyone. She barely scrapes by school and the other kids make fun of her, a crybabyliving living in Neo-Tokyo. But inside she has the purest heart and sweetest intentions. Her dream is to be married to Darien and live in a beautiful house. At the age of 14 she discovers that she has the strange power to transform into Sailor Moon, "the Champion of Justice!" by means of a talking cat. Things just get stranger from there. Definately worth checking into!

Amy:
Mercury was the second Sailor Scout to be discovered. She never had many friends because she spent all of her time either studying or going to cram school. Many of the students thought that poor Amy was stuck up and called her names. Usagi was Amy's first real friend. Usagi taught Amy that having fun can be just as important as studying. Beautiful Amy has become Sailor Mercury, Goddess of water!

Rei:
Priestess Hino Rei is my second favorite Sailor Scout and she acts the most like myself. When Luna first saw her she mistook the young girl with flowing black hair as the moon princess. Rei is graceful, elegant, and she has an attitude to boot. Rage burning hot with the power of Mars!

Lita:
What can I say, Lita is awesome. She is the strongest out of all the inner scouts and is a good half foot taller than the other girls at her school. These characteristics aren`t appreciated if you are a girl in Japan. Lita is also a wonderful cook and she loves making treating her friends to desert... Lita`s power is strong too, once she transforms into Sailor Jupiter she uses the power of thunder to give the enemy a real shock.

Mina: aka Sailor Venus
Sailor Venus was fighting crime long before Sailor Moon. She was a decoy scout to protect Usagi, the real moon princess. Naoko Taeuchi even had a manga series featuring Sailor V a few years before Sailor Moon was created. My theory is that Mrs. Takeuchi created Mina first because Usagi was too controversial for the times!

AnimeGlam is going to be great, but I cannot get the PageBuilder to launch on my computer. @#&*!!!! Because of this there have been several delays. Right now I am concentrating on getting more content, but I need your help. I want to add a fanfic section to my site... I am accepting Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, Tenchi Muyo, Battle Angel Alita, and Hello Kitty FanFics at this point. Please send your fanfics to either ippon_tsukino@hotmail.com or tanuki_00@yahoo.com. NOTE: This Page is the equivilent to my last site, `Sailormoon`s Favorite Site`. I still like the show and love Naoko Takeucki`s work, but `Sailormoon`s Favorite Site` suffered from terrible site disorder so I had to shut it down. Hopefully I will be able to set up another jumbo SM site in the future, but until then I have this page... enjoy it. Sorry to everyone who submitted requests and tried t join the Sailormoon PenPals, I just couldn`t keep up.
