Tanmay is born at 1503 Hrs at KD Care Hospital, Indore on this Saturday, 13 days ahead of his scheduled birth. His grandparents are the first to see him.

Administered Oral Polio Vacccine 1st Dose and BCG Vaccine. Cried vehemently while being given the latter. Weight: 2.5 Kg Head Circumference: 32 cms

Tanmay now coos a lot and tries to respond when you speak to him (especially of you try speak in "his" language). A particular baby-poster (which has been part of our room since Mitali was expecting) fascinates him so much that he can't stop making gurgling noices and non-stop giggles on seeing it.

Apart from very frequent coos and giggles Tanmay now tries making loud noise too. He smiles and loughs with his teeth-less mouth more often. Now he can hold things in his hand and remains aware about it too. Infact he is more aware of his hand movements than ever before. The desire for thumb-sucking (which started last month) is so overpowering now that we are unable to stop it (especially seeing that it soothes him down many times). He enjoys being taken for a stroll in arms and needs someone (if it's Ma nothing's more better) by his side almost all the time. By third week of Jan he has also started his tries at turning on side.
