What excitement!  when
"OUR BROTHER
WHO WALKS ON THE WIND"
displays his  lovely wings during a
Halloween party presentation at
Redding's  YMCA Nursery

See how confidently these toddlers approach to touch  the beautiful
Red Tailed Hawk?  There is a mutual trust between the innocent children and the equallly innocent bird.
Children
have no natural fear of animals - that behavior is learned.
When wildlife is introduced into their lives early,
a precious bond is formed between the children and their animals.

They will forever remember that  positive sharing of their wild heritage.  Their respect for life is enhanced by the enchanting experience of seeing and touching  this magnificent wild bird.  The long term results will be future citizens with a grounded perspective of the importance of their obligation to protect and cherish the wondrous creatures with whom we share planet earth.

If you are lucky enough to have wildlife center that does educational outreach - support their program!
