| Why you should be concerned about drilling for oil in the Alaskan Wilderness! |

| THE FACTS: If we removed all the available oil in the United States, it would be impossible to drill our way to independence. America possesses only a tiny 3% of the world's supply - conversely we consume 25% of the world's presently manufactured oil. Even if we took that oil out of the ground we would not be independent of foreign oil. We would still be vulnerable to the vagaries of the foreign market, but we will have compromised our nation's rarest natural heritage. And for what? The entire idea is a grand hoax that will not effect the average American, but certainly will fill the pockets of big American Oil Baron's. Do not allow yourself to be mislead on this issue. Drilling for oil in the Arctic Wilderness WILL NOT ensure domestic security. That pathetic 3% WILL NOT give us energy independence. IT WILL threaten an IRREPLACEABLE TREASURE |
