[biography] [pictures] [profile] [main] [blog] [thanks] On night of September 25, my mom woke up and was rushed to the hospital. A few hours later, she was forced to give birth to me at exactly 12:15 am the next day. A creature of about 3 kilos, I was not what they expected me to be. I was a GIRL, much to my dad's dismay. They christened me MARIA LEONILA B. VILLEGAS. A name I used to loathe because it was my grandma's name. I felt so out of place with my other friends who had names like Angela... Samantha... and I got stuck with LEONILA! They said I looked like my grandma, but until now, I still can't see the resemblance. I was raised a very unconventional way. My parents were always assigned to different places, so I was always left with my sister and yaya. And whenever they were home, they would spoil me, which made my sister jealous. I have a sister by the way, and she's 8 years older than me, so it was no use trying to get her to play with me. As I grew up, I became normal. Not that I wasn't normal when I was a kid, but I was different then. I learned to find lots of friends in school.I enjoy spending time with them, bonding and just talking. I love reading and just talking! I love pestering people, especially seatmates! I'm very makulit, and I love talking, so it's no surprise that I'm noisy. I'm a very friendly and open person. Though I may not look very approachable, (most people say that I look mataray..) but once you get to know the real me, I'm really not mataray! I'm just very persistent and I would do anything to protect my loved ones.. so basically, this is me.. this is my life...
