Tal Freiberg, Bass-Baritone
Born in Isarel, Tal Freiberg began his musical life as a pianist; he studied at the Telma Yelin School For The Arts in Tel-Aviv, and graduated with distinction as a piano major in 1987.

Changing to voice studies, he completed his Graduate degree from the Rubin’s Music Academy in Jerusalem fallowed by a Post Graduate Professional Diploma from Mannes College Of  Music, NY.
Tal has studied with Thomas Culthise, Malvin Jordan and Lavata Johnson, Francis Keeping, Patricia McCaffrey Rashel Shuloff and Ira Ziff.

Tal’s concert and operatic performances include appearances at the Jerusalem Theatre, Alice Tully Hall, Bruno Walter Hall at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, The New York Public Library, The International Vocal Arts Institute* , Opera North (Vermont) and the New Israeli Opera.
Among 15 operatic roles performed, are Aeneas (Purcell), Toby (Menotti's The Old Maid), Bartolo (Figaro), Crespel (Hoffman), Le Bailli (Wherter), Papa Moss (Copland's The Tender Land), Publio (Clemenza) and Sparafucile (Rigoletto).

Among  awards received by Tal Freiberg are the Sharet Foundation Scholarships (’87-’92), The Jerusalem’s Music Academy scholarships, The Jerusalem Music Academy prize for lieder performance, The IVAI * scholarships for professional pursuit and the Feorderkriese scholarship award for the studio program of the German Opera – Berlin (’99-’00).
