	A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM

VO:	And now, the Warner Brothers in a scene from William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Translated for those viewers who – like Yakko – have no idea what he is saying.
Yakko:	(sat in a tree) Humph!
Dot:	(From her narrator's circle, giggles)
Yakko:	If we shadows have offended,
	Think but this, and all is mended.
Dot:	"If the actors in our show made ya' mad, it'll be okay if you look at it this way!"
Yakko:	(Jumps down from the tree) That you have but slumber'd here,
	While these visions did appear.
Dot:	"You fell asleep on ya' butt, and dreamed the whole thing!"
Yakko:	And this weak and idle theme,
	No more yielding, but a dream.
Dot:	"There was a hole in the plot you could drive a truck through."
	(Wakko has been picking flowers in the distance. Three pixies appear and one of them hits Wakko's hand away with a fly-swatter. Wakko scowls, then brings in a hose and washes the pixies away.)
Yakko:	(Back in the tree) Gentles, do not reprehend...
Dot:	"Honeys, don't blame us. You could be watching Oprah."
Yakko:	If you pardon, we will mend.
Dot:	"But, we're sorry; and we promise our next show will be full of funny skits."
	(Wakko tries to pick another flower, but it is attached to the head-band of a human-sized pixie; and Wakko end up pulling her out instead)
Wakko:	Helloooooo Pixie!
	(Wakko chases after her)
Yakko:	(Back on the ground again) And, as I am an honest Puck.
Dot:	I'm not touching that one!
Yakko:	If we have unearned luck,
	Now, to 'scape the serpents tongue...
Dot:	What he said.
Yakko:	We will make amends, ere long.
Dot:	"We'll buy you foot-long hot dogs!"
Yakko:	Else the Puck a liar call. So, good night unto you all. (Blows a kiss) Mwah!
Dot:	"G'night everybody!"
Yakko:	Give me your hands if we be friends.
Dot:	"Applaud if you like us!"
	(Yakko claps)
	(Wakko is looking for the pixie. She storms up behind him, with an angry look on her face. Wakko acts very coy and offers her a flower... she becomes even more agitated and tries to hit him with a giant fly-swatter)
Yakko:	And Robin shall restore amends.
Dot:	"And the Boy Wonder will save us!"
	(The Bat Mobile drives in. Robin reaches out of the car, and pulls the Warners inside. The car drives off, leaving the pixie a little dazed)
Pixie:	O, what fools these Warners be!
	(Fade out)
