Watercolors -Abstract-

"Letter A" has a nice bold white border, you may not need a matte for this one.  I painted this one when I was in college.  It was a test project of my creation.  I was still learning how to paint in "layers."  Something I will always enjoy about watercolor, there are so many things you can do with it or to it to change its look.  If you look behind the dark green hard edged "A" you will see a softer, lighter green "haze" behind it.  The lighter haze was a first layer of green while it was still wet.  Later I made the darker one once it had dried.  Artist signature included. "Raindrops" is one of my favorite pieces, I love the blues and greens they make me think of the ocean and rains.  Also the blue drops or spots are reminiscent of rain dropping.  Notice the blue squiggle/wave of water across the bottom.  Artist signature included.
