Fred Durst was born on August 20th 1971 and he was born in Gastonia, North Carolina.
He never did well in school and he didn’t get along with his parents well either
and he moved to Jackonson Ville, Flordia as a teenager. He served for the US Navy.
He got married when he was 20 and and had a daughter named Adriana Durst.
He then found out his wife was cheating on him so he divorced her and attacked her
boyfriend. He spend one month in jail after that.
He then moved to North Carolina where he did some odd jobs,
including tattoos, but mostly got in to trouble. After a while he moved back to Jacksonville where
he spend a lot of his time watching concerts. That’s
where he met his friend Sam Rivers. Limb Bizkit was formed in 1994 in Jacksonvillle Flordia.
Fred was the singer and Sam played Bass. Sam’s cousin John Otto, soon joined the band and
played drums. Finally Wes Borland joined as the guitarist, and last but not least DJ Lethal.
When Korn played in the area, Fieldy from corn and Fred Durst became friends when
Fred shared his tattoos. Korn then took their demo tape passed it on to their producer Ross Robinson, and that is how their fame began.
