| August 16,2002 I arrived at the Story Inn in Brown county Indiana, around 4 pm. Melissa checked me in. She is the one whom I have been emailing back and forth with before my visit. She has been working for the Story Inn for about six months along with her husband. Mellissa has told me she has had no encounters witih any spirits of any kind. But does get a strange feeling about the barn which is located around back of the Story Inn. Mellissa showed me to my room. I can see the barn out the window in my room (The Blue Lady's room). I am going to go check out the barn first while it's daylight and take some pictures. I am also going to go check everything out outside while there is still daylight. Melissa states that her daugter whom is 12 has had a encounter. I will speak with her soon. I returned from outside. Break from writting I have been laying here on my bed in the Blue Lady's room. I haven't been here long. Somthing keeps touching the back of my legs. It's real faint but feels like a light pinch. I keep smacking my legs thinking a bug is on my leg or somthing. I even smacked my forehead thinking it had a bug on it. It felt as if someone poked my forehead (ouch). This went on until I got up and left the room. I feel I am being watched from the other side of the room. Floor is creaking over there lightly. No one is there. Or upstairs for that matter. My breathing is very difficult right now. I am going to take a few pictures inside the room where I feel I am being watched from. Break in writting I returned from doing a few interviews with Devon and Becca and they showed me around the whole place. I checked everything out. I plan to relax now and read some in the guest books. I have to say while in the attic with the two girls I lost my breath. Very hard to breathe. I feel the attic is the heart if the house. I feel the attic is the most haunted of the whole Story Inn. The paranormal is very strong in the attic. Needless to say, I didn't stay in the attic long. Even when I went to take a few pictures later on I couldn't stay up there long. I had the worst feeling over come me. I didn't like it in there. I plan to visit all the rooms in the whole place. But two rooms are locked and can't get into for some reason. I will take alot of pictures tonight. I will also try to contact a spirit as well. Break in writting Dinner. I came downstairs to get something to eat. The menu has nice fancy food with fancy prices as well. But not what I was in the mood for. Just a simple cheesebuger will suit me fine. The waitress ordered me a cheesebuger from the Old mill beside the Story Inn. I am sitting in the lovely dining room. It's a very cozy and nice. A few couples are having a nice meal. I've been reading the guestbooks. I finally finshed the first book. I am very excited about tonight. My cheesebuger is finally here. It tasted great but the french fries on the other hand where to hard to eat and very nasty. Did I mention the food was very cold? Anyhow. In the guestbooks a few guest have had some kind of encounter of the paranormal type. Very interesting to read. I did a interview with Doug during dinner. I have to say that everyone at the Story Inn is very friendly and helpful. I have a very warm and welcomed feeling. I went outside to smoke a cigarette and was joined by a girl named Amy. Very nice girl and even before she said anything I knew what she wanted and that she was going to ask me some questions about her life. What we talked about I shall not share here. Only she and I shall know what we talked about. I don't do many readings with the living. It's the dead I focus more on. But somtimes the time comes up when I just have the need to such as the reading with Amy. I wish her luck in her up coming marriage. After the reading with Amy I returned back upstairs to my room. I am laying down again on the bed and am feeling the pinching once again. I am going to go to the Old Mill to meet the owner of the Story Inn and do a few interviews over there. Break in writting I retuned from the Old mill and feel so very tired. Maybe it's the long drive but I feel so drained. I am going to go make me some coffee in hoped it shall wake me up some. I still have a long night ahead of me. I also am going to read some more in the guestbooks. I am laying here waiting for my coffee to be finished brewing and I am feeling pinched again. This is getting on my nerves. I yelled out I know you are here and I will deal with you later. Then the pinching stoped. Ah finally I can relax. Now back to reading the guestbooks. I just went to get my coffee. When I turned around to go back in my room my door was closed. I never heard it close nor did I even close it. So I opened it all the way and waited to see if it was just the house that made it close on it's own. It never did it again. I pulled out all my bath stuff and realized I have forgotten my shampoo. I suppose I won't be able to wash my hair tonight. I just turned on the blue lamp in here beside my bed. The blue lamp is supposed to summon the Blue lady. I suppose I shall find out. I read some more in the guest books. I snapped a few pictures around the place. Break in writting I just retuned from downstairs. I also found out I will be the only one staying in the whole Story Inn tonight. I wanted some peace to do this investiagtion but that's a bit much. I don't get scared too often. But knowing I will be locked up in this place all alone does scare me a little. I am sure I will be fine. I failed to mention that in this Story Inn you have NO clock, phone, tv or radio. You have nothing. Just peace and a nice cozy room to stay in. Everyone can use a little R & R once in a while. I will try to get some myself. But I have too much to do. I am going to go take a hot shower to relax me some. Break in writting I walked into the bathroom and couldn't stand it. The bathroom was freeezing. I didn't even have the air on in my room. I had very bad cold chills. So I got into the shower and turned the hot water on high. The water pressure in the shower is terrible. The water barely came out at all. I so wanted to have good water pressure to relax me. That didn't happen. But I did enjoy the very hot water. I had the hot water on full blast. No cold water on at all. There is a toilet in here that they call haunted toilet. I also read a few pages in the guestbooks where the guests say they have had encounters with the toilet. Me I never had any problems with it other then it didn't flush very well. But even though the water pressure was so weak the shower was still refreshing. I was and still feel a little feverish. I am sure a good nights rest will help with that. I need a drink. My mouth is dry. Not sure where I can even find a drink they have closed the Story Inn up and I can't get into the dining area. There is a house wine offered but I am not a drinker so I will just take it home with me. This room is so cozy. It would be so romantic to have someone I loved here with me. But being single has its downfalls such as tonight. But I didn't come here to do nothing. I came to get a job done. I just keep a clear mind and that helps. I can feel love in the air even though I am the only one here. I am very tired. It's been a long drive and day for me. I will have to sleep after I try to do a contact. Break in writting I sat on my bed and lit my spirit candle (a white candle for purity & innocence). All the lights are off in the room except for one. The blue lady light, which is supposed to help summon her. I placed a ouija board in my lap, and got my camera out. I am finally ready. No noises are around execept a few little creaks and knocks about the place. I did a channel and did make contact with a few spirits. One was a male named Zoel. But other then that there was no contact with any female spirits. I closed the channel. I am going to go to sleep now, I am very tired and drained. Break in writting I am down having breakfast. I did one more short interview. I ate walnut pancakes. They were pretty good. Said my goodbyes and now I am on my way out. I had a older lady want me to do a reading of her, but I wasn't even awake enough to do so. So I am on my way out. The end |
