I have started this web site for my second granddaughter Amy Sue Cook. She was born on May 29, 1987 in Columbus, Ohio. After she was born the song "I'm gonna Get You" was playing on the radio. I gave her the nickname Sweet Pea as that is what she reminded me of, a little sweet pea. I will be making more pages for her as time goes by so please visit often and pleas sign her guest book before you leave. I hope your visit is enjoyable and that you have lots of fun here. Thanks to every one. Granny Mary |

In A Childs Eyes Have you ever wondered What kind of a world You'll find In a childs mind Do they see God Just because they believe Do they love everything Just because thats whats meant to be (Chorus) In a childs eyes So much surprise Love and kindness Beyond dreams that are the wildest In a childs eyes Do they love you, just cause your there to play or maybe just cause your there with loving hands To help them understand To help them on there way All these dreams of a perfect world Just maybe if they were king So wonderful is life In a childs eyes Where with friends they sing All you'll see is sweetness For everyone and everything rich or poor, old or young They look to the inside of everyone If you look at there little tiny faces As they lay sleeping You can see there dreams There expressions so easy to read You just have to pay close attention All this is what a child sees But why can't we make it be The earth would be a better place Not just a vast, empty, space There'd be no fears to consume and no tears to cry If we lived in the world,in a childs eyes (Repeat chorous) In a childs eyes So much surprise Love and kindness Beyond dreams, that are the wildest In a childs eyes Love The heavens above In a childs eyes..... No matter what happened I remember back so long When the whole world was a fantasy I lived my life in a song Not worried about my future No matter what happened I played all day With not a fear in sight I dreamed all night Where everything was right I told my family,No one had no fear we could all be happy our friends will all be there I had no clue about the world outside I didn't know about the murder and sorrow or all the crime following tomorrow I lived with a rainbow painted Across light blue skies My happiness to show And no tears to cry The moon and stars and A contented heart And the sun would always shine (Chorous) And no matter what happened Everything was alright I was outgoing always smiling I never gave up,everything was wonderful No matter what happened I was a child Everything great and mild I wasn't worried about me I was happy and free No matter what happened The world would still turn And I'd still be more But everyone has to grow up and darkness will start to show You'll follow a different road Where it's long and cold My bright happy world Has turned to concrete And i can see the violence The real world that i missed before I see people hurt and people die I stop flying and i hit the hard floor You learn true love, and that everything ends There's hurt and pain in everything You still cry even when you look to the heavens above And no matter what happened,It can't ever be the same And as i grow just a little older The world gets so much darker and colder I feel like breaking down and crying But i hide my true feelings I hold my head up high and force a smile And everything seems to get so hard But i play the game and look at every card I try my best and give all that i can I love and lose theres nothing i can do I remind myself that even though it's tough God will give me the strength eneough To hang on untill again i am in that world above I wish so much that i could go back to that world The time when everything was right But that was so many years ago When i was free minded and young (Repeat chorous) And no matter what happened Everything was alright I was outgoing always smiling I never gave up everything was wonderful No matter what happened Joy deep in my heart Happiness beyond my control Heaven wasn't so far The key was in my soul My life was worth living No matter what happened.....
