I started this site to honor my Mom, and to hopefully help my family and I with the grief we are feeling from the loss of her, but along the way It's made me think a lot about all the family members we have lost.

We lost three women at a young age to cancer, but I would also like to take a moment to honor our Uncle John Murphy who lost his battle with diabetes and heart disease at the age of thirty eight. He left behind a wonderful family that he would be very proud of.

I was very young when God called him home, but he lives on in our memories. I think of him often and I see him in the faces of his children. I do remember that visiting him and his family was one of my favorite places go when I was little.

His Grand daughter Jennifer Murphy also was called home at the age of 21. His wife who is also my Aunt and God-Mother is someone who I've always looked up to and hoped that I would be as strong as she is and be able to cope with losses as she's had to. In this site you will be able to read about some of the people in my life, and please come back from time to time. We will be adding to it.

My Brother said this to me not long ago, and it has played over and over in my head.

What a true statment.

There are times when words come to me so fast I can't write them down. There are times when words come to me and I can remember them and analyze them and put them into sentences that have meaning. There are times when words can't get past a broken heart...

The Potter Family

Would like to extend our deepest gratitute to all those who shared in our grieving of our great loss.

Perhaps you sent a lovely card,Or sat quietly in a chair.

Perhaps you sent a floral piece, If so we saw it there.

Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, As any friend could say.

Perhaps you were not there at all, Just thought of us that day.

Whatever you did to console our hearts,

We thank you so much whatever the part.
