Make sure you use a computer that does not have Service Pack 2.
If you are updating the splits you will need to login under my passport.
If you are updating Shadow, you will need to login under your passport that you use for MSN Explorer.
Then when you get into the room, copy and paste this into the address bar and press go:

Then a notepad window will pop up resembling this:
Go to edit, find. Then type in PassportTicket. You will see the word highlight. Then you will see VALUE="5EYAqnRx1B80kCNgc1nZK9DTYXGY26W3C2IhBPrXCEyF5h1U07pEwhK9GXeFUoI*2Eg4puEGpl5FscA9V0K2YWsA$$"> after that. Copy the string of letters and numbers in between the quotation marks.
Open up wordpad, and paste that into it (no need to save it).
Go back to the notepad file. Go to edit, find. Then type SubscriberInfo, and you will see that word highlight. After that you will see the same type of thing we saw before with the Passport Ticket. It will resemble something like this: VALUE="5qo1s8CW5AWtz8mfop3moyqMZyg7ELejOKQBJ7UfZvgEoGa3BOoq3Z5SwRiUJKofk*R!RUnHrJpTs0a!O*XSh3ropHUrFLOTcarcpzjh1e97Y$">
Copy the string of letters and numbers in between the quotation marks, and then go back to your wordpad file, press enter a few times, and then paste the other part into wordpad.
For Shadow
Open up the shadow window, and go to options (screenshot below):
Then go to Passport Info (screenshot below):
You will see 3 boxes, Passport Ticket, Passport Profile, and Userrole/Subscriberinfo.
The Passport Profile never needs to be updated, so you do not need to worry about that.
The Passport Ticket only works for 12 hours, so anytime during that time frame you can reconnect the bot and you won't have to update it. But after that, you will.
The Userrole/Subscriberinfo needs to be updated every 7 days.
Go to your wordpad document and highlight the first string of numbers, and copy it. Then go back to shadow, and go to the Passport Ticket box with the string of numbers in it. Right click inside the box and go to select all, and then right click again and paste.
Then go to wordpad, and highlight the second string of numbers, and copy that. Go back to shadow, and look for the Userrole/Subscriberinfo box. Right click in the box and go to select all. Then right click again and select paste.
Then go click on Connection (screenshot below):
And click on Connect at the bottom.
For Splits
Open the split up (if it is minimized you will need to double click on the icon in the system tray to open it up).
Go to tools (the toolbar near the top of the page), remote.
Then where the 5 tabs are, click on variables:
You will see something like this:

The subinfo needs to be updated every 7 days.
Go to wordpad, and highlight the first string of numbers and copy it. Go back to the split, and look for ticket. It is the 4th line from the top. You will see a string of numbers after it. Highlight that string of numbers, and then right click and select paste.
Then go back to wordpad, and highlight the second string of numbers, and copy it. Go back to the split, and look for subinfo. It is the 3rd line from the bottom. You will see a string of numbers after it. Highlight that string of numbers, and then right click and select paste.
Then press ok. The bot should now be updated.
