The Other Guy Copyright (c)2001 Raquel Lung

(By SweetGirl)

He gives you his Love-but you want more

So you hide the rings-you once wore.

You take in compliments-from the other guy

And you build a bridge-not wanting to try.

You laugh,you giggle-on the phone

When you’re left at home-all alone.

You take in-what the other guy said

And then you start to wish-for HIM,instead.

Hubby comes home-you walk away

No feelings felt-no words to say.

He sits alone-not having a clue

He tries to figure-whats wrong with you.

He falls asleep-so you grab the phone

You say "hello"--in a whisper-tone.

You have to hear him-before you sleep

For his words through the night-your heart can keep.

A voice answers-and says "Hello?"

You ask for him-she says"Who wants to know?"

You hang up the phone-and analyze

All his words-were only lies.

You start to cry-as you feel your shame

This was nothing more-than the other guy’s game.

You’ve betrayed your husband-could lose him 4ever

For a stranger’s word-a guy,so clever.

The pain you feel-the trust you betrayed

For a game you entered-a game you played.

Hubby on the couch-looking so sad

All of a sudden...he’s not so bad.....

Now IS he?!
