By working with the professional staff of Covel Family Services, your family has made a courageous commitment. This hard journey will begin the process of healing and rebuilding the family. Together we will form a partnership that will guide your family back to a healthy, productive lifestyle

The program seeks to establish a safe, therapeutic environment to encourage personal growth so that families may function more successfully within our community. The program also provides opportunities for our families to be involved, and participate in a positive learning experience. While participating in the program, families will:

• Develop an awareness and better understanding of family members.
• Develop enhanced social skills.
• Develop and clarify future-oriented goals.
• Obtain education on your family issues.
• Develop and enhance your family's personal support system in the community.

Covel Family Services is licensed by the COmmonwealth of Virginia under the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse.
