O-Town's Jacob Underwood Suffers Back Injury (5/31/01, 7 a.m. ET) -- O-Town singer Jacob Underwood injured his back during a performance of "Take Me Under" at a radio-sponsored show at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio on Monday (May 28), according to a spokesperson from J Records. "The stage was carpeted...he was not accustomed to that kind of stage," the spokesperson explained to LAUNCH. The injury forced Underwood to miss a concert Wednesday (May 30) in Trenton, New Jersey, and he will not perform tonight with O-Town in Hartford, Connecticut. Underwood is in New York City today (May 31) to have a bone scan to determine the severity of his injury. O-Town is scheduled to perform in New York radio station Z100's Zootopia Concert on Friday (June 1), but Underwood's participation will depend upon the results of the bone scan.
