Small Group Yoga
Experience the meditative flow of yoga and move towards the five classical goals of practice: strength, flexibility, structural alignment, physiological balance and mental steadiness. Principles of movement and breathing are given as the foundation of yoga practice.  Learn how to regulate and lengthen your breath and use conscious breathing to enhance the natural movements of your spine and back.  Enjoy balanced posture sequences that may evolve from the simple to more complex, including slow, conscious movements and flowing postures. Depending on the purpose of the group, you may also practice breathing techniques for relaxation or focus, the use of sound and meditation.  Individual guidance and support is given so that your practice of yoga is a beneficial experience. Participate in smaller classes that are enriching, non-competitive and designed for new to experienced yoga students of all ages.
About the teacher:  Megan Hemmings holds the Diploma in Teaching the Science and Art of Yoga from Svastha Yoga Ayurveda and the Yoga Teacher's Diploma from the International Yoga Teachers Association.  She is an experienced teacher and therapist who has completed a range of specialised courses including Yoga Therapy with Svastha in Sydney and Svastha in Chennai, South India
