SUBJECT:    SELF EVALUATION AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR SELF

Is it not time to take responsibility for our own actions?  Is it not time for self-evaluation? Are you brave enough to take on this quest?

I begin this message with these three questions, simply because I am not here to judge or preach.  I am here to help enlighten others, give a different perspective on situations, and hopefully offer you the opportunity to learn positive living/loving tools.

The topic I wish to discuss here may be a touchy subject to some, but by no means am I here to offend anyone.  Of course I can not be responsible for your feelings.  You must take responsibility for that and I pray for God's guidance in choosing my words well and carefully.

We as adults, as emotionally healthy individuals must take the time to evaluate self in all given situations.  We need to learn to take responsibility for our part in what is happening around us.  Why do we allow situations to get out of hand? Why do we sometimes cause pain and heartache at the expense of others?  I believe it is because of our own insecurities that we contribute to the pain of others.  We ourselves are in pain and want others to suffer with us.  How selfish of us to want others to hurt as much as us or more than us.  But in truth we are all guilty of this at one time or another and maybe very often so.  We may not even recognize that this is what is happening, that this is how we are responding to situations.  These insecurities of ours if not recognized or dealt with can cause situations to escalate to ridiculous proportions and in turn contribute to other painful feelings to rise within us.  Feelings such as resentments, mistrust, and even to the point of hate.

The key to dealing with our insecurities is to learn to recognize where they come from and work towards an understanding of what they are and what they mean.  The way to do this is to take the time to self-evaluate in any given situation and to take responsibility for our part in causing pain to ourselves and others.

Yes, it would be an ideal world if we were all brave enough to practice this and take responsibility for our actions, be they good or bad, right or wrong, happy or sad and the world would be a much better place for everyone.

Why not take responsibility for your part in all situations.  Make self-evaluation part of your regular daily routine.

Try it.....You may learn to realize and recognize the value of it all.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. My only hope is that you will be taking an important message with you and some of you may need to read between the lines here.

Love, hugs, peace and blessings to all.
