My Position In Softball

The beginning of softball is nearing.
I know what position I will play.
A position where I can feel the pain
of speed through my glove.
Looking at the white ball as it
comes toward my face.
The smack as it hits my glove,
and hearing the umpire say,
"STRIKE THREE, YOU'RE OUT!"
