Seventh Grade Program
As you enter the seventh grade, you will experience a challenging
and motivating program. You will be assigned to a team of teachers
and attend six different classes a day. Your opportunities for
success are varied and you will have the opportunity to take
advantage of the many learning experiences offered
Listed below are the subjects offered for
seventh graders:
Language arts
Mathematics
Social Studies
Science
Physical Education
Exploratory/Enrichment Courses:
Computers, Introduction to Technology, Introduction to the
performing Arts, Band, Chorus, Beginning Strings, and String
Orchestra.
Students who choose a Band, String, or Chorus Enrichment will
remain in that class for the ENTIRE school year. All other students
will participate in a nine-week rotation of Art, Computers, Intro,\.
to Performing arts, Intro. to technology and Lifestyles. Each student
will rotate through four of the five offerings.
Please Note:
The seventh grade science classes will engage in a unit of study
which includes growth and human reproduction. A letter of information
will be sent home prior to instruction.
