INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Sutton Aviaries!  We are a well-established cockatiel aviary, and we have expanded to offer more of our favorite Australian species including the Princess of Wales Parakeets, Crimson Rosellas and the Twenty-Eight Parrots (similar to Port Lincoln).   We have been breeding birds and promoting bird care for over fifteen years.  Sutton Aviaries is a proud member of the National Cockatiel Society and the American Federation of Aviculture. We believe that education is the most important factor in avian promotion and health, and we teach classes on avian care in the Phoenix area.  We are also available to answer any questions free of charge at anytime from anyone around the world.  Remember that there are no bad questions, especially when it comes to the health and happiness of your bird!  Email us! All of the birds at Sutton Aviaries are spoiled, large and healthy.  They come in a wide range of colors.  Their diets consist of pellets, seed and fresh organically grown vegetables, many of which are grown in our garden!  They are in outdoor aviaries here in sunny Glendale, Arizona and we follow a strict daily cleaning schedule. Sutton Aviaries firmly believes in clean bloodlines and genetic exellence.  We do not inbreed and provide bloodline records with each bird sold.  Sutton Aviaries ships via Continental or Delta airlines throughout the United States as long as the weather cooperates!  Generally speaking that means Fall through late Spring.  We can DNA test any bird to determine sex.  Cost is $35 per test and it includes a certificate.  Many of our showbirds and higher priced birds have this included.
