This is just my way to release stress. Time Frame: Very alternate universe. Richie ducked. Set in present day. Summary: Methos is just a guy. A five thousand year guy, but a guy nonetheless. This is the age old story of boy meets girl, boy loves girl, boy beheads someone in front of girl, boy spills guts to girl, boy used to be a Horseman. Enough of that, you get the picture. Author’s Notes: This story has been a work in progress for about two years now. At different points during its writing I have either 1) threw the thing down in frustration, 2) lost my disk with the story on it, or 3) wondered if it sucked or not. Much has been written and debated about the whole Mary Sue topic. I have truly strived to make my OFCs as three dimensional as possible. Some details have been borrowed from events in the lives of people I know. This is my humble attempt at writing a hopefully realistic relationship between an ordinary mortal and a very old Immortal.
