Silver and Barney's Birthday Page Silver was born Oct. 10, 1987. Barney was born June 13, 1988. They've had enough birthdays to be real  party animals!

Mom always bakes us chicken cakes.  One year there was a milkbone missing from my cake.  You can see Silver's toothprints in the icing!

Silver always gets a new squeaky ball for her birthday, but she loves her cake best of all!

We invited our Sheltie friend Spense to have his birthday party in our backyard.  His mom made chicken cake.  It was yummy!

Are there seconds?

Cake goes well with Frosty Paws!

Spense (on the left) said,"Hey Mystery, that's my birthday present!"  All sisters must be like that!

Here's our famous Chicken Cake Recipe! 1 can Science Diet Senior chicken flavor dog food 1 cup flour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 1/2 chicken breasts 2 eggs separated 1 sprinkle of garlic Cook skinless boneless chicken breasts till tender.  Grind with a little water in blender to make a paste.  Mix with canned dog food.  Beat egg whites to soft peaks.  Blend in flour and baking powder.  Grease cake pan.  Bake 35 -45 minutes at 350 degrees.  Cool and frost with soft fat-free cream cheese.  Decorate with squeeze cheese and tiny dog cookies.
