Mission

The mission of the Semper Fi Society is to help develop students into future Marine Corps Officers. This is accomplished by:

  • Ensuring that our members have a solid foundation of knowledge on which to build their careers as Officers of Marines.
  • Further developing an appreciation of the traditions and ideals of the Marine Corps.
  • Promoting good fellowship, esprit de corps, and impeccable social virtues among our members.

Socially, our members come together to discuss topics relevant to the Marine Corps. Often occurring during the semester, these discussions may be led by advisors or guest speakers. These discussions could take place in a classroom, at a local restraunt, or movie theatre. We also attend the annual Marine Corps Birthday Ball presented by the local I&I Unit.

Professionally, all the members participate in a rigorous physical training program. Our PT program consists of the Marine Corps daily 7-12 exercises followed by a run. This is conducted 3 times a week and is led by a different member each day to build confidence and knowledge in our non-prior service members. Our PT program also consists of conditioning hikes as well as running of a Marine Corps Obstacle Course. In addition to the PT program, OCS preparation classes are also conducted during the spring semester in order to better prepare our members for Officer Candidates School.

So if you feel up to the challenge of becoming a member, fill out the contact form and we will either call you or mail you more information to help you succeed in becoming one of the Few, the Proud, an Officer of Marines!
