TIDBITS OF FUN
Tips (On the subject of prewashing fabrics)

Sherry Driver, Englewood, CO says "I snip off all four corners of the fabric to prevent raveling. I sort it by color and put it in the washer with the family laundry. I hang it up to dry. Since I snip the four corners, I can alway tell what's been washed."

Ann Foss, Brooklyn NY says "My prewash formula is as follows: less than one-half yard fabric, I do it in hot water in the sink; more than 2 yards, I wash it in hot water in the washing machine. Anything in between, I take in the shower with me. I use detergent only if fabrics come from a store that allows smoking, or if the fabric seems dirty."
