Application Developer

§       Took over management position to revitalize failing reporting group and restructured old methodologies to create a centralized reporting system that manages all reports needed by sales groups, helping to reduce turnaround time and increasing report accuracy.

§       Developed application to add, edit, delete & track doctors, hospitals or other medical facilities in company database. Application incorporates 5 Oracle tables and gives on the fly maintenance of rates, locations, network affiliations and tax id information in one easy to use application.

§       Developed application to allow users to access, review and reprocess medical claims. Application features ability to reverse (refund) any disputed claims, as well as giving users the ability to track the full life cycle of any claim sent through the company system.

§       Developed reporting tool used to generate end of month by client revenue reports, current month revenue estimates, and an ‘open’ claim report used to determine if work force overtime scheduling is needed.

§       Developed application allowing sales personnel ability to show prospective clients potential savings based on the clients actual claim information. Report shows side by side, claim by claim comparison to show savings as compared to clients current provider.

§       Assist Director of Application Development by conducting initial interviews and making recommendations for new hires. Development group leader/mentor helping fellow developers better understand programming issues.
