Well, hello there!

Welcome to Internet Programming with Miss Lowe! Over the next semester you will have the opportunity to discover how the internet works and create pages which are publishable on the web. This course is designed so that you can learn at your own pace and develop valuable skills which will be useful and enjoyable for years to come.

You will start off this course learning the basics. A brief history of the internet and special design skills will be emphasized. From there, you plunge head-first into hands-on page making. For each lesson, you will be expected to answer a few questions and be able to demonstrate the skill you have acquired. Once these are passed off, you are welcome to move on to the next lesson. If, at any time, you need help, I am there to assist.

This page contains links to the disclosure document and some helpful information for navigating this site. You will notice three icons, or little picture thingies, at the bottom of the page. One faintly resembles a house. Clicking on that image will take you back to the home page - the index where you saw the contents of this course. The other icon is an arrow pointing right. This is the "forward" arrow. Clicking on it will take you to the next page in the course. You will also notice a left, or "back" arrow. This will take you to the previous page in the assignment. On this page, it will also take you back to the index. Easy, right?

Before beginning this course, please print the disclosure document. Press the "Disclosure Document" button located at the bottom of this page. You will see another button which says "Print Document." Press that button and the disclosure document should print.

Have fun and good luck with this course. You are welcome to move as quickly as you want, but don't waste time or you won't be able to finish what you need to. It is expected you will finish basic programming quickly. Most of your grade will be based on a series of pages you will turn in. Have fun and may the internet be yours!
