Following last weeks defeat by Tunbridge Wells the Cranbrook team were determined to re-establish themselves against this weeks league challenge from Worthing.

With overnight frost prevailing to bright and sunny playing conditions, early try scores from James Catt and Andy Walls set the scene for a convincing Cranbrook display. After only 2 minutes play, Catt at Number 8, gathered the ball to record the first Cranbrook try, which was followed only minutes later by Cranbrook winger Andy Walls. Worthing battled to regain some grip on the game, but were dismayed by further trys from Catt and centre Lewis Donaldson. At half time the score was Cranbrook 20 - Worthing 0.

The second half continued in a similar way to the first, with Cranbrook controlling much of the play and recording a second try, half way through the second period. The final score ended Cranbrook 25 - Worthing 0.
