Having had the pleasure of taking the
Tunbridge Wells strong forwards held the upper
hand in the opening encounters which brought stern defence from the defiant
Crawley opened the second half in determine mood but good defensive
play by the Wells backs limited Crawleys opportunities
to run the ball. Wells forwards again began to secure most of the ball and gave
their backs excellent service. The forwards supporting play in a number of
phases. The pressure began to tell and Wells ran in another three trys.
William Robinson, Robert Hendley and Luke Giles all
performing superbly.

The many spectators enjoyed an excellent game, but the result was not what Gerry was looking for, although he eventually brought us a beer afterwards.
