Welcome to my homepage. It's been a while since I updated my page so I need to tell you all what's been going on since I last had the opportunity to write here. I am now twenty-five years old and I've graduated from Loyola University with that major in English and minors in Black World Studies and Biology. I have since moved to Cicero,IL (a suburb right outside of Chicago), and basically what I've been trying to do these last few years is grow, open my mind to broader horizons, work (gotta pay those student loans),prepare for med school and chillax when I get a chance. I'll be submitting some of my newer poetry here soon. I didn't write for a while, but I've been inspired as of late (blush)and I just have to sort through and see what I'm not too bashful to share with the world. So look out...it's coming soon. In the mean time you can still enjoy my old stuff.
My Fantasy
In life I found my fantasy
and I found it shining in you
I never realized a love so sweet
could ever really come true
such beauty and radiance exuding from one
so young and full of life
my greatest joy would be to wed
and simply become your wife
So small a hope in this great scheme
my past ambitions decrease
they have all paled and faltered
to this love, this hunger, this beast
I am subdued in all my ?glorious me?
the one that cannot be stopped
at this point on the mountain I?ve paused to smile
because I see us together at the top
