Death of a Skatalite - By
now you have probably already heard about Skatalite's ex-saxophone player, Tommy McCook's
death. In the morning of June 5, he died from pneumonia in his Atlanta home. He has
been suffering from recent health problems. He was 71.We at the NY Ska Page
dedicate the new updates to this man who is not only a great musician, but person as well.
His life is an inspiration for rudies all around. The Mining Company has a special look
back at the contributions of Tommy McCook, with exclusive commentary from Westside
