1.GENERAL INFO
Scooter are not
just a rave group,they are considered as the ultimate rave idols.The original
Scooter line-up is :H.P.Baxxter, Rick Jordan and Ferris Bueller.Latelly
Ferris Bueller left the band after the song No Fate. A new guy joined
the band:Axel Coon, a former studio assistant of Scooter. His
first appearance was in the video for How Much Is The Fish.
2. HISTORY OF THE GROUP
Although widely known from the print and TV media, the history of the band 
Scooter
deserves a few words here. Back in the way 80s, H.P. and Rick got together 
under
the name Celebrate The Nun. Their music back then can best be described
as future pop. This creative duo with the spacy sound achieved early success.
The high point came when Celebrate The Nun broke into the "Top 5" of the
American Billboard Dance Charts.H.P. also came into
contact with DJ Jens Thele with whom he worked at "edel company", a record
company in Hamburg.They all formed the remix team "The Loop" in summer
'93.
3.THE PAST
The first album of SCOOTER was "And The Beat
Goes On".Those words became not just a title but
also a way of life for million people in the 90's.Hit after hit has been
pumped out by H. P. Baxxter, Rick Jordan and Ferris Bueller.The beginning
was fantastic with the single "Hyper Hyper" which released in autumn of
'94.The critics about this song were very cruel,although the answer of
SCOOTER was the fact that "Hyper Hyper" sold over 700,000 copies in Germany
alone. They have become one of the world's most successful dance-techno
bands. Hyper Hyper, Move Your Ass, Friends, Endless Summer and Back In
The U.K. were all huge hits, with sales over 3 million worldwide so far.Trough
all these years from 1994
to 1998 they've released much more hit singles and albums."Let Me Be
Your Valentine" and "Rebell Yell" in 1996."I'm Raving" and "Break It Up"
in 1996-1997."The Age Of Love" and "Fire" in 1997.
And "No Fate" in 1998.That was the last song that the group created
with his original line-up.
4.THE PRESENT AND THE FUTURE
As i write you before,the line-up of the group
has changed.Axel Coon has been added and Ferris Bueller left.The new work
of the group with the new formation
was presented in the summer of 1998 with the release
of a new single called "How
Much Is The Fish".It reached up to number 3 in the German
Charts and they also released the Video Clip of that song.I'm sure that
there are much more to see and hear about SCOOTER in the future.

SCOOTER are back with a new album called "no time to
chill".This album is the first one with Axel Coon on the band.It's a great
one and a must in every scooter's fan CD collection.And as H.P says this
album is "The first page of the second chapter".
