2.THE BEGINNING
Sascha Lappessen was the real beginning of     Sash!.He is a 27 year old DJ and keyboard player
which comes from a little town in Germany called Nettetal.He is a DJ in a club called "KINGS" where he started off as a waitor,after that he became a Light Jockey and electrical engineer in the same club.He became a DJ at the age of 16 and right after that he met Ralf Kappmeier.They released a single together named "Indian Rave" under the name of "Careka".Unfortunatelly this single was not very succesfull.Some time later they met Thomas Alisson and formed SASH!.
 
 

3.THE SINGLES
In 1995 SASH! released their first single called "It's My Life" which managed to reach in the DJ Charts later on(1996).But the real success for them came with the release of their next single "Encore Une Fois" with the vocals of  Sabine Ohmes.And the result of that cooperation was the well known french sentence "Medames Messieurs,Le Disc Jockey SASH
Est De Retour".The single sold over 2.000.000 copies worldwide and was a really massive and unexpected success for SASH!.The next step of them was "Ecuador" with Spanish vocals from an
Argentinean DJ that lives in Germany named Rodriguez.The single released in 1997 and soon became a pan European hit as it reached in the Top 5 places in the European Top 20 and also managed to reach the 2nd place in the English Chart.In the end of 1997 they released their next single (Which is my favorite) named "Stay" with the brilliant voice of  Frankie McCoy (La Trec).
"Stay" became a huge hit all over Europe and reached again in the 2nd place of the European Chart.
The next single in the beginning of 1998 was "La Primavera" with Italian vocals by a vocalist named
Victoria.It reached number 4 in the european Top 20.Their latest single is Mysterious times in which
they are featuring the well known vocalist Tina Cousins which made a quite big success here in Greece (I don't now about the rest Europe) with the single "Killing Time".In the English chart in one week it managed to climb up 37 places from number 40 to number 3.Also managed to reach the Top 5 places in Europe.The next single from the album "Life Goes On" will propably be Move Mania.

5 .NEWS

   Well Sash is in the studio recording some new tracks.There are rumours that he's going to use
Kylie Minogue and her sister as vocalists.Meanwhile he released a new track with Bonnie M,named
"Ma Baker",it's really cool.We'll just wait and see...
