In only his 3rd match in the DWO (and his first in singles competition) MiMic found himself fighting for the Hardcore Title! DWO Magazine had this to say: "Another title defense for Nixon, hell in a cell style. With attacks from all angles and from all objects there now can be no doubt that Nixon, winning once again, has to be a great hardcore champion!

EL CHUPACABRA & MiMic lost their first match in the DWO when CHUPA got counted out of the ring.

OWF'S "Royal Rumble" Internet PPV
While the 6'5" DEATHMATE took the victory at the 30-man over-the-top-rope spectacular, the entire TRINITY had a strong presence at the 'Rumble'. The winner of the match gained a World Title shot at MiMic, but there was a very interesting stipulation to the match. If any of the members of the TRINITY were victorious, they would recieve the vacant Tag Team Titles. This outraged many of the other wrestlers at the time because the TRINITY already had the World, U.S., & TV Titles in their possesion!
