"The Silhouette Band"(formerly Klassik Band) is a
6 - piece group based in the cities of Brampton,Mississauga and Scarborough (Greater Toronto area) specializing in live music entertainment for corporate functions, wedding and birthday parties, anniversary events, bars and restaurants. The band is founded by veteran Lead Guitarist Rey Mapeso, Bassist Dale Tecson and Drummer Noel Mapeso on December of 1999 in Toronto.
Our wide repertoire of selected songs for any occassion ranges from 60's and 70's popular and standard hits, ballroom dance music to a medley of rock n'roll classics to the 90's hits. We cover songs from artists that includes Dusty Springfield, Gloria Estefan, Alicia Keys, The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Kenny Loggins, Tony Orlando, Lionel Richie, Santana, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Michael Buble, David Lee Roth and many more.
We use top of the line musical instruments and equipment to deliver the best quality sound for your listening and dancing pleasure.
The Silhouette Band (drummer, guitarist, bassist, male and female back-up vocalist) also performs as hired musicians for other singers, artists and performers. The band's rehearsal places are at Rey's residence in the vicinity of Airport Road and Sandalwood Parkway in Brampton and at Noel's (drummer) house in the area of 401 and Mavis road in Mississauga.
We also provide digital recordings for demo and composition, minus one track for vocalist, graphic design for CDs and the web. Silhouette Band is associated with Sticky Record Label.
