It was July 3rd 98, how
I remember that day well all was good spirits were
high!! Til I reached the venue
(Jaxx), the idiot at the door was putting up
the sign for the show. He
can't spell Sebastians name to save his life..So me
being the nice person I am
tried to help. Well, needless to say he didn't
want my help, as he proceeded
to tell me. So I replied that he needs a dictionary
or for Da'Man himself to come
spell it for him, because he was dumb as an ox.
Anyhow I go it to club to
where there's a line of people and the security
tells us all to go in the
poolhall. I declined do to the smoke I stood in
the hallway. These two girlies
from Philly come in complaining that the driver
(one of the girls) got them
lost. I asked where they were from they told me
and we start talking.
Yada Yada 8) they ask me how long I've been a fan I
tell them since I was 12 (a
mere preteen). She says cool have you seen the
new band yet I say yeah in
Dec. It was all that and a bag of chips...They
said cool then we'll dig it
I said yeah of course bas is Da'Man. We talked
til the doors opened at 7:30
or so, they asked me if I wanted to chill with them
up front I said hell yeah
no doubt! The doors open and WE WERE OFF TO THE
RACES, hair flying and all,
we scramble to the front were we plant into of
the stage. I proceed
to tell them there's three opening bands and bas comes on a
midnight. The girl goes no
shit I didn't know that I said yeah. So we sit
through the opening bands
their all good but you know me I WANT SEBASTIAN
BACH DAMNIT 8)
So the time comes the light dim and bam bam starts the opening to
Slave to the Grind! I start
screaming my head off its him its him OH SHIT 8)
Bas comes out clad in the
silver suit. WHAT A HOTTIE girls are losing the
fucking minds, I screaming
my ass off or course singing every word that bas
comes out of his mouth with..Oh
yeah baby its party time now..so we go
through a few songs we get
to MONKEY BUSINESS the song of all songs. Bas starts the
intro real slow and Im of
course singing along in my own little world not
realizing Bas is staring at
me pointing going like (she's rockin) I look up
and he's smiling at me I turned
around thinking he was looking at someone
else when really it was me.
I freak out sure enough damnit to hell he's looking at
me LOL..So, the show continues
we get to the last songs on the list, one of
the girls turns to me and
goes Havin fun! I said most def girl you know it!
She said are you going to
hangout for the meet and greet I said yeah. They
were like cool were going
to stand in line and support each other as we get
closer to bas..So, the concert
ends, we run out to buy pictures and shirts, I
get up to get my shirt and
I spent some of the money I had on me so I was
short for the shirt. One of
the girls lends me what I need, I get my shirt
and were off to the line.
Man its like 5000 miles long! We stand and stand
finally we get up to the table,
I'm dying at this point I go through all
saying hi to everyone. I make
my way up to Bas oh my god what a babe 8) The
girls I was in line with start
asking Bas is coming to Philly, Bas points to
my shirt and says all tour
dates are on the back..I laugh at them and say
your not special enough to
Sebastian LOL, they laugh Bas laughs. He says if they
pay me enough I'm there 8)
I said I know they don't think that your going to
play for nothing 8) Bas said
I think not. He signs the pictures and I'm
up!! I lay out my shirt on
the table that's when knocked over his drink and it
got on my shirt..He says I'm
so sorry, I said no problem its from you its all
good 8) He laughs he says
What's your name? I said Jeanna...He says that's a pretty
name I start smiling from
ear to ear..Thank you I say! How do you spell that?
He starts G..I said its J.e.a.n.n.a...He
said no shit that's a cool spelling I
said thanks! He starts signing
the shirt...saying Jeanna with a J...i like
that 8) He finishes
signing and I ask can I get a hug...he said yes..I go to
hug him I hugged him so tight
I tried to squeeze the life out of him..While
I'm hugging him I lean in
and kiss him in the ear....oh baby does he smell
good or what!!..I pull away
slowly and take in all the scent of his body as I
can 8) I look at him
and say Thank you Sebastian your the best....He
smiles..I smile and I take
my shirt in my hand and thank him again..He says
Jeanna with a J come back
and see us again...I said I'll be there no doubt
about it. I smile at him..he
returns the smile and I turn and walk out in to
the morning air!!!!!!!
