Due to our commutes, the rising gas prices and their effect on feed prices, we are going to be reducing our numbers significantly. Where we used to maintain our herd with around 10 milkers, we are reducing to under five in 2008. This being the case, we will have numerous does for sale in the spring and early summer.
Our farm wouldn't be complete without our two Anatolians, Prism and her little sister in training, Crystal. Between the goats, dogs, cats, turkeys, chickens, and musckovy ducks...we keep pretty busy!
I have had goats in my life since I was a small child, and am blessed to have my family roots deeply imbedded in the lovely Trillium Trails Herd. My parents, Bob and Alison, have been breeding beautiful, stylish Nubians for many years, and I got my foundation animals from them. I breed for a large, strong, powerful style of Nubian, that combines high milk production with show quality confirmation. While my animals are large, they still maintain lovely breed character, style and grace. They are appealing to the eye, while being productive too.
The entire herd is CAE Negative, and is healthy and free of abcesses and related diseases. Contact me with any questions or concerns. We are always happy to test any animal pre-sale. With a small herd, I prefer not to take deposits. If you are interested in a particular breeding, let's talk about availability.
