The River #1
I sit alone, beside a River of Darkness, pure yet dirty
As the sun sets I wander through the grove of secrets
As the sun rises in the early morn I awake from a bed of sweet pine branches
Sheltered from the roaming hands that wish to do me harm
I sit alone beside a River of Darkness, while sadness fills my soul
Tears of blood run down my cheeks, unbidden but flowing netherless
I wade into the dark cold waters and dive
The coldness envelopes me
I sit alone beside a River of Darkness
Waiting for the bright everlasting darkness mixed and surrounded by light
The place I call home.
