DAWN, BRENDA and CHRIS
STUVEK
This is Chris Stuvek and he has been a huge NR fan since he and a friend
saw them open for Greg Kihn in Anchorage in 1983 after the release of Dawn
Patrol. Growing up in Anchorage, Night Ranger was the ONLY band that
would consistently tour Alaska with each album, usually on their way to
and from Japan. In fact, NR world premiered "Sentimental Street,"
"Seven Wishes," and "Faces" at a May 1995 Anchorage show before the release
of the 7 Wishes album. Pretty cool being one of the first 8,000 people
outside of MCA records and the band to hear those songs.
These Night Ranger photos were taken at the Fort Lewis show in Tacoma,
WA on July 25, 1997. Chris's sister, Dawn, flew down from Anchorage
to attend the show and they happened to luck into backstage passes.
