'N SYNC versus BSB
Hello! This is
where I get to voice off on my opinion of the whole feud that supposedly exists between
these two groups. Please keep in mind that these are my feelings and they may not
agree with yours. I only want to express that and let you think about it. My
feeling is that it was created by the media. Purely fictional. Give it all a
little thought. If there is universal love, respect and acceptance; how interesting
is that to write or read about? MTV sure likes to milk it. How many times have
you turned on Total Request Live to see BSB and 'N SYNC fans yelling at each other?
It's ridiculous. Don't give in to the hype. If you love both groups, proudly
support them. I am 32 and am perfectly willing to let people look at me in a funny
way as I pick up a magazine to scan to enhance this web site for the people that never
come to look at the pics. I have stated that I tried not to like them for awhile,
and at a point just gave in. They've both been a great source of comfort and joy for
me. I not only listen to them constantly, but dream of them when I'm stressed
out. I attribute this to my dependence on listening to music as an outlet for
pain. Among others, they've gotten me through a long term fear of a man that abused
me over 10 years ago. The individual I used (BSB, but who's counting) will never
know this, but I go to bed happier every night knowing I won't have another nightmare
about it. So the bottom line is this: These groups are here purely for our and
their enjoyment. If you are analyzing which ones are cuter, sing better or dance
with more skill; YOU ARE DWELLING ON UNIMPORTANT DETAILS!!!!! If the music makes
you smile, gets you through a mild or heavy trauma or inspires you to dance IT HAS SERVED
ITS PURPOSE! Anything else is trivial. Each man has wonderful attributes and
deficits. They are just like you and me. As for who came first, well there's
another trivial thing not to dwell on. Teen oriented male groups have existed for
decades. Neither of these was the first nor will they be the last. THANK
GOD!!!
So spin those discs,
buy that merchandise, go to the concerts and most of all HAVE THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE!
They wouldn't want it any other way. By the way, I don't have kids. I
just happen to love pop music. Music in general, but pop especially. Thanks
