Punk Amoeba is a pop-punk band which sprang up in the Goleta/Santa Barbara area. In all truths, this group of talented lads overcame several obstacles to reach the level they did. Along with Punk Amoeba, they all had their own side projects as well.
Among their many experiences as a band, they even once had a chance to open for Good Riddance at a show, no lie! There were a few band members, in and out of the band, but the final set of Punk Amoeba consisted of:
Dan: Guitar, Backing vocals
Nick: Drums, Backing vocals
Matt: Lead vocals
Ryan: Guitar, Backing vocals
Jared: Bass
Alas, it has come to be that Punk Amoeba disbanded sometime in 1998...
And YET! This was not the end to their talent.
Ryan is now playing guitar for Staring Back, while Matt sings for Staring Back, and Nick plays the drums for them. Dan, Nick, and Matt have also formed another band together, along with another friend, Adi. Together, they are the Goleta All-Stars.
