Mixed Reviews:
If Urusei Yatsura have the songs however the support bands tonight have the attitude. Chaos aplenty comes from Apollo Creed, born from the ashes of Goatboy and in a similar vein of Pixies vs Sonic Youth heavy indie rock, ending in the best bit of guitar trashing Fibbers has seen in a while. The kids are all right.

"What are you going to be like?" Jo asks Apollo Creed beforehand. "Loud" is their only reply. This art-rock York five-piece are painfully true to their word, only they've forgotten to mention they're also totally mental. Howling-on-his-knees singer Nathan McWhinnie, bassist Mark, guitarist Dave, guitarist George (or is it Gege?) and drummer Al can write some decent hooks if they want to but that would, of course, be too obvious. Musically Apollo Creed are so-so to crap. As a performance, they are sensational.

Go HOME ya byute.
