First round trophy triumph

With the help of girl friends and spectators alike the B team fielded a well rounded ten. The match turned on a repeat of the previous weeks game although this week the Strikers managed one goal better.

The first half was disjointed and at times ugly. The halftime score finished up at 4 vs 1 with 3 of the Strikers' goals coming from supposed crosses.

The second half was a little more structured and saw this season's top goal scorers Drag'm and One Touch both complete their "hat-tricks" for the match. The game ended the goal scoring drought for many of the players: Cyclone Matt, Groggy, Trigger and Big Little Bones opening their accounts for the season. Of special note, goal scoring virgin Timmy the Tackle finally rammed one home after two seasons of speculation in the league... nice work Tim.
