Girl's Farts shakes the booty on debut

Lack of ineptitude and fresh form sees the Strikers register a third consecutive
win downing the Plunderers in a one sided match at Spreydon Domain. A new name
and change of strip was not enough to hide the remnants of last years Heathcote
team... maybe they should have stuck with the green and white.
Off-season signing "Girl's Farts" offered a fresh striking force
rarely seen at this level of the game. Dominating up front and with all the time
in the world he slotted three in the onion sack by games end.
Hoffa Hopoati and Fudge rounded off the scoring for the Strikers with a goal
a piece. Good to see that after only two weeks in the saddle, Fudge is hell bent
on taking out the prestigious "Angry Man" of Sunnyside Strikers title
for the year. "Best the ref calls the fouls in the future".
Also on debut, Cyclone Matt proved steadfast at keeper. At one with the
gloves, he was barking out the orders like a seasoned veteran. Good to see a bit
of coordination at the back.
Sunday Golf gone wrong saw Trigger and the one known only to himself as
"The Enforcer" taking the field late in the second half much to the disgust
of many of the Strikers players. Not to worry though, they managed to take
out the top spots in fines this week coming in at a hearty $7 a piece.
Anyway... we won and we won well.
