Captain Lays Down the Law
Self elected captain Ronny 'nothing but a G-Thing' Granger comes
down hard on uncommited players with a radical new bench accounting
scheme. From the horses mouth:
"On the business of being on the bench - and shit.
If you submit a written statement to the skipper on or before the Monday
before the Sunday of not being available to play, this can count as "bench"
game. But note this will only count as one half on the bench.
A failure to do so will result in a the missed game not counting as a
"bench" game and the appropriate fine for non committal to the Sunnyside
Striker C cause.
Also be fully prepared when you are on the bench to ref. Any refusals to
ref will result in a suitable and harsh punishment decided by a
disciplinary committee.
The Skipper reserves the right to use his discretion on these subjects for
the good of the Sunnyside Striker Cs."
